Heart Work – Week #1

Recap: This week Kate unpacked how King David faced his fears in Psalm 27 as he was surrounded by his enemies. In the first few sentences of his psalm David addresses his fears by acknowledging who God is first, faces the reality of what the fear is, and then anchors himself in God’s character. These actions helped David move from a position of being lost in his fear to standing firm in his faith.

Scripture: Psalm 27:1

Icebreaker: What is your favorite jelly bean flavor & what’s the worst you’ve ever heard of?
