Welcome to Week 1 of the sermon series “Wanderers or Conquerors?”. Come journey with us as we travel through the Book of Exodus and discover how God sets us up to be conquerors! |

This Week |
Ponder the words of Exodus 2:2 as you write out this portion of the scripture: “When she saw that he was a fine child…”. Do you see God’s goodness in the midst of your story? Can you see how God might be working in your life? Do you believe that God is working for the good, right now, in your story, even if you can’t currently determine what that is? Ponder the words of Psalm 27:13 as you write this scripture out. Do you trust that you will see God’s supernatural goodness in your life while you are here on earth? Ponder the words of Exodus 2:3 as you write this portion of the scripture out: “But when she could hide him no longer…”. Do you recognize your human limitations within the story God has planned for you? Are you able to admit you need a God-dependent plan; something only He can do? Are you able to ask others for help, to come alongside you in prayer, and to encourage you when you are frustrated? Or do you try to keep everything looking good and successful to others on the outside? Are you wandering through your struggles? Do you want to be a conqueror instead? What is one step you can take in faith today? (This might be asking for prayer, admitting to a trusted loved one what you’re struggling with, scheduling an appointment with a professional, or letting go of something you have been holding too tightly to.) |
